COVID 19 was the litmus test for the strength of our economy, throughout the nation workers were laid off, exploited and put at risk while big corporations saw record breaking profit margins. It is absolutely classless and immoral to pay a person $7.25 for 60 minutes of hard and honest work, no one should live in fear of loosing a job without a just cause and anyone who wishes to unionize and organize should be able to do so without fear of intimidation or retaliation. I support the Green New deal as a pragmatic policy priority that will create jobs and prevent the structural unemployment that will occur from the inevitable shift in energy infrastructure.
